Reduce delivery traffic and generate revenue

Online ordering and home delivery is adversely impacting our towns and cities. Providing pick-up and drop-off locker locations provide an efficient, convenient way for consumers to collect or return goods ordered online. Flowbird can help.

WHY CREATE OUT-OF-HOME COLLECTION LOCATIONS?

Online ordering and home delivery is adversely impacting our towns and cities.

Home delivery operations increase traffic congestion, emissions and reduce air quality

By 2024, e-commerce will account for 32.1 percent of all UK retail sales1.

INCOME FROM LOCKERS

Under or unused parking bays in car parks or on-street, and redundant wall space outside buildings are both ideal locations to site locker hubs. Locker operators fully-fund or heavily subsidise the installation of locker banks and, in exchange for a rolling contract of up to five years, pay an annual rental of between £500 and £1,000 per locker.

Flowbird manages a single locker programme with multiple locker operators to maximise financial returns. Locker operators we represent include names like InPost, Quadient, ByBox and Lockars

CONVENIENT, SECURE

Multi-locker locations allow operators to consolidate and optimise deliveries for the last mile, eliminating the environmental and cost impacts of making house-to-house calls, and the risk of failed handovers. Lockers also bring consumers back into towns and provide flexible ‘click and collect’ solutions.
