Como in Lombardy, northern Italy, is partnering with Flowbird to provide an integrated mobility solution covering parking and transportation.
Citizens and visitors will be able to access parking and transport services through new on-street touchscreen multi service terminals and the Flowbird app, along with other mobility options, such as bike and scooter hire.
The Flowbird system includes communication within a new back-office application that will provide city authorities with data analytics to inform infrastructure decision-making. The platform will also provide the basis for additional applications using an integrated payment approach, enabling citizens to access municipal services and purchase bus and boat tickets.
The flexibility of Flowbird’s multi-service terminals offers many advantages for the Municipality of Como, including the customisation of screens and the management of transactions such as permit renewals, subscriptions, local schemes, as well as parking, transport ticketing and shared soft mobility services.
