With Pay by Space pay stations, the driver parks in a space, goes to the paystation and enters his space number and payment. The paystation issues a receipt, which is not a parking ticket but a payment receipt to be kept as a proof of payment. There is no need for the citizen to walk back to the vehicle to display the ticket. A citizen can add more time to his stay simply walking to the nearest paystation, even miles away from where he parks or through the Flowbird mobile app.
