Service and maintenance

The Flowbird Service Team has four Area Service Managers controlling 45 field engineers across the UK. Engineers carry all common repair parts in tracked vehicles, ensuring that the nearest engineer will be dispatched to resolve any issue in the fastest possible time. A full spares inventory is held in our UK centre, with next day delivery.

Call handling and response

Flowbird operates a dedicated UK-based Service Desk for all customer service queries. We handle over 1700 logged calls per month, as well as coordinating over 1500 monthly servicing visits to our contract customers. The Service Desk is supported by a Technical Team of 24 specialists providing software updates, technical support plus a dedicated Data Centre monitoring our customers’ estates.

Monitoring, visibility and insight

Flowbird’s UK-based Data Centre team controls over 19,000 Pay and Display machines. These are connected to back-office systems handling 3.8 million credit card transactions per month. The team also maintains numerous off-street ticketed and ANPR systems Flowbird has deployed. A dedicated Prince2 certified team ensures that all projects are delivered to specification, on time and within budget.
