solution that provides transit riders with tremendous convenience.

Purchasing fares is easy using the app loaded onto an Android or iPhone smartphone- all with a user interface branded with the agency’s logo and colors.

CUSTOMIZATION

The agency branded version of Flowbird’s Transit Mobile Ticketing app can we customized to any location; Add your city’s logo, colors or name to the app. Downloads are available for free to riders from the App Store and the Google Play Store.

PAYMENT

Riders can enter payment information during check-out and store it in their account for future use. Payment options include credit cards, Apple Pay & Google Wallet.

USER CONTROL

Agencies can offer a wide variety of fare types (e.g. single ride, youth fare, all day ticket) along with multiple tickets in the same transaction.

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

Riders can remain anonymous or set up an account, which allows them to:

  • Update their contact information
  • Receive reduced fare benefits
  • Change their password
  • Add and edit credit cards on file
  • Manage email and SMS alerts
  • Check/Delete ticket purchase history

FARE CAPPING

The Flowbird Transit Mobile Ticketing solution also supports fare capping, where riders pay for rides using the electronic purse in their account. The system calculates the least expensive fare to charge based on riders’ travel history.
