AXIO 4 ONBOARD VALIDATOR
The Axio 4 Onboard Validator is a state of the art open platform device providing fast and flexible fare validation. The Axio supports Open Payments, providing quick and easy boarding for your riders. Travelers can tap and ride using contactless credit cards or mobile wallets such as Google Pay and Apple Pay.
OPEN PAYMENTS WITH THE AXIO 4 VALIDATOR
With Flowbird Open Payments, passengers use a standard contactless bankcard (or mobile wallet) to pay for their fares on board the bus, train or ferry without first needing to purchase a separate ticket or pass. Their contactless bankcard or mobile wallet will provide both the ‘authority to travel’ and the ‘payment mechanism’ for the travel.
Flowbird Open Payments service is a near real time solution using the bus and ferry mobile routers for 4G cellular communications, with offline capability as back up. It fully supports the Visa and MasterCard transit rules with the rules engine running within Flowbird’s PCI DSS certified Payment Acceptance Services platform (ArchiPEL).
CONFIGURATION
The Axio validation device comes with fully configurable software designed to match your agency’s branding guidelines. It can also be set up with WiFi, Ethernet and/or 4G connection, and can be secured with multiple different mounting options.
